It is known that any non-government social organization being a registered society can go for the certificate of income-tax exemption (12A,80G) and get donations from the commercial organizations, institutions etc. within two and half years, the committee, did not applied for the income tax exemption. Even after the completion of the 10th year.
Previously, Sri R.V. Chandravadan, the then collector of Hyderabad, not only appreciated the reputed services rendered by the anti-suicides committee but also has come forward to recommend for special funding from the government. Even then the founder president says that “As there is no wing and funding from the government no other social voluntary organization has come forward to prevent suicides…………..”Because of love with our Co-Human I established this Anti-Suicides Committee and I Struggle for the cause until my last breath”.
And refused the than collector’s offer smoothly. Even though he never tempted. Nor threatened to religious, convertion threat with an offer of 10 Lakh Rupees and many more funds later on. He by all means not only refused the offers but also defended himself from the threats in the same way he wisely broken the attempts made by different persons who wanted to mis-use the organization’s good will. For their selfishness and came forward to provide funds. But our founder president who is in voluntary social service since 20 years, spent his whole –property for the divine cause but some persons advised and criticized Sri Viswhamgaru the founder president of the organization who dedicated the whole property for the divine cause i.e., for the welfare of the society, that it is an un-intellectual act, as we can spend only 1%-2%-3%-4%-5% or even 10% income to the society but not whole property. Nothing is more than us (Thanakumalina Dharmam Ledu). A few people regretted spending the whole property like this. We get nothing-we remain with nothing.
But our founder president sir gives only one answer for all those critics, “For the Re-Establishment of Humanity, which is the life ambition and to save our Co-Human Natural Dharma, is what am I performing He further says that “A mother feeds her baby without any measures. In other words she will not even think about the quantity she has given”. At the same time our president sir compares the above critics with the mother who thinks that if she feeds her baby her beauty may decrease.
Our president sir never go-back or bothered to borrow money, to save so many grievances to think that it is all an un-intellectual act to get donations to run activities of the organization in this monetary oriented society, even though there is no humanitarian response from the society .He thought that if we take funds from the individual or institutions of inhuman attitude persons, we may not able to prevent their in-human attitude.
The only thing is, if at least a few persons should come forward to help and take part in this activities with humanity, the burden of our founder president sir will be reduced to some extent only, even though the reputed persons, appreciated our activities saying “You are doing a very good job” but never come forward to give voluntary financial assistance because money is important to all.
But now under the present circumstances, rapid changes undertaking in the state politics, the future of Andhra Pradesh will not be speculative, also keeping in view, our president sir’s health condition the committee discussed and decided to apply immediately for the registration of income-tax exemption (12A,80G)in order to save our Co-Human by all means with Humanitarian-grounds by receiving funds only from Humanitarian institutions and individuals. |
